The best way to improve your shotmaking is to incorporate swing drills into your practice sessions. Swing drills help to improve your "muscle memory" and help to build a more consistent swing.
Learning golf requires an understanding of the fundamentals of the game. Once you understand them you need to practice on a regular basis to ensure you can perform to your fullest potential

Group lessons can be arranged at the Georgian Bay Golf Academy for groups of 3 to 6 players. Lessons will be customized to meet your group's specific needs and busy schedules.
Group lessons include range balls, lesson summaries. Golf clubs are available at no extra charge for those that need.
$30 per person per hour
The best place to improve your game is on the practice range. There you can experiment with and modify your swing in preparation for your next round of golf. The most common errors made while on the golf course are usually a result of either poor decision making, a lack of knowledge or confidence, or simply what I like to call "course mismanagement".
An On Course lesson will help you understand when you might be making mistakes on the golf course that will lead to poor shot making and higher scores.
I usually recommend that you play a few holes prior to your On Course lesson. You book and pay for your green fee and then simply make arrangements for me to meet you on the course at a designated hole and time.
On Course lessons include a complete lesson summary with comments, tips and drills.

Junior Golf Camps for 2026
Taking Junior Golf to the golf course! The entire camp will be held at Tomahawk Golf Course in Thornbury. Each day will see the Juniors play different games and formats in a fun team atmosphere!

A preswing routine allows you an opportunity before every shot to check your set up, get prepared for the shot and to minimize outside distractions. It will also help you to slow down your pace of play and prevent too many mental thoughts from affecting your upcoming shot.
